As you can imagine, moving to a new city, setting up housing, preparing a church building that needed a lot of cosmetic work, and getting ready for the Grand-Opening of a new church has kept all of us moving at a rapid pace. Suddenly, Christmas is upon us and we are caught off guard.
However, we will get to spend Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with our families and enjoy a little bit of a break from the hard work everyone is putting into making this ministry’s future a reality. We’re thrilled that we get to serve our Saviour in this way and in this place and are grateful for those of you who hold us up in prayer and financially make it possible. We wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas and hope that the coming year is one of great blessing as you draw closer to Jesus and do His will.
As a portion of the team is working diligently to get started with the teaching and training of Indian pastors, those of us in the Philippines are hurriedly preparing for the Grand-Opening of International Baptist Church at Dumaguete which will take place on January 16, 2011. I hope that you’ll take a moment to visit the church website and subscribe to follow our updates there. We’re adding photos to the photo gallery to allow you to see the progress taking place on our church building.
God bless you!
